Gotcha Covered - About Us

In 1996, co-founder Lisa Bernath, bought one of those new Tempur-pedic memory foam contoured pillows sweeping the nation but she couldn't find a pillowcase anywhere that fit properly. As an interior designer with a passion for sewing and construction, she decided to make one for herself and an idea was born.

Lisa knew there must be other people who were having the same problem. and convinced (begged) her childhood friend, Margalit Grunberger, to go into business with her. Together, they started the very first odd-sized pillowcase company. Gotcha Covered.

With prototypes in hand. they pitched their odd idea to a national back care retailer, and the managers were thrilled that someone could fill their customers' needs. The original idea propelled them into a niche business, marking the company as THE odd-sized bedding specialists. Since launching the original Tempur-pedic pillowcases, Gotcha Covered has flourished into a variety of 'perfect fit" bedding solutions for all bed sizes and styles including Luxury bed linens, buttery and undyed organic bedding, American Leather sleeper bedding. waterproof mattress & pillow protectors and more! The complete bedding assortment can be found on the website plus at national retailers, furniture, and mattress stores. hotels and home healthcare companies.

In 2017 the company was acquired by Sweet Dreams, a luxury bedding manufacturer based in McAllen Texas.
